An orientation for students taking NCC classes while in high school
ATTENTION: This orientation is intended only for high school students who are planning to take NCC courses before graduating high school. If this doesn't describe you, please sign up for our traditional Orientation Session.
Orientation Part 1 Overview
We are incredibly excited to meet you! In order to register for classes, new students must attend a mandatory orientation session called Orientation Part 1 - Getting Started: Preparing for Advising and Registration. Review our full enrollment checklist to get the big picture.
The orientation at Northampton Community College is a 100% virtual, 45-minute Zoom call. You'll learn about sending in your transcripts, completing your FAFSA, logging into your Student Workday account, accessing your NCC email, and more. When possible, we recommend that students join these sessions from a computer or laptop rather than a mobile device.
We strongly encourage incoming dual-enrollment students to complete the dual-enrollment version of Orientation Part 1. Sign up via the form on this page.
- If the dual enrollment orientation dates don't fit your schedule, you can attend a traditional orientation part 1 session (sign up here). Please note that those sessions will not cater to dual-enrollment student needs, but you will receive information specific to dual enrollment after attending orientation.
