December 2023 Update

Accreditation efforts are on track and aligned with our established timeline. The workgroups submitted outlines earlier this month and are now preparing the chapter drafts due in February.

Ways to get Involved
As part of our commitment to transparency and inclusivity, we encourage everyone to actively participate in the following opportunities:

  1. Respond to Requests for Evidence: Your input is invaluable to our accreditation process. If you receive requests for evidence or have relevant information to contribute, please respond promptly. Your cooperation ensures that we present a comprehensive and accurate picture of our institution.

  2. Participate in Focus Groups During Opening Days: As we gear up for the upcoming semester, we will be conducting focus group breakouts during Opening Days. This is an excellent opportunity for faculty and staff to share their insights and experiences. Your participation in these focus groups will contribute to the richness of our self-study.

  3. Respond with Feedback to Chapter Drafts: During the spring semester drafts of our self-study chapters will be shared with the community for feedback. Your thoughtful input on these drafts is vital to refining our narrative and addressing any areas that may require further attention. Your expertise and perspectives contribute significantly to the overall quality of our self-assessment.

We believe that the accreditation process is not only a requirement but also an opportunity for continuous improvement. Your involvement is integral to the success of this endeavor, and we appreciate your commitment to the advancement of Northampton Community College.
